"Sri is an innovator, technologist, ocean engineer, entrepreneur, Author and Poet.

Sri is the CEO and co-Founder of Yogeo, a patented smart-address technology company which is focused on giving an identity and voice to any object on earth, whether stationary or in motion. Applications of YoGeo cover land definitions, logistics, warehousing, smart cities and campuses, including integration with IoT sensors.

Sri is the pro-bono Global Leader for Innovation & Partnerships at Agastya International Foundation (www.agastya.org), a non-profit focused on curiosity-based learning which has impacted 15M children in India.

He was the CTO of NEXT Future Transportation, an advanced, autonomous and scalable mass transit system. Earlier, Sri was the Chief Innovation Officer at Persistent Systems, and the Head of the Persistent Venture Fund for early stage technology startups. Sri was VP of Technology Strategy at Intuit, responsible for product engineering of QuickBooks and Quicken, technology strategy, partnerships and M&A. Prior roles include executive and technology functions at Symantec, Softbank, CTO and co-Founder of Adatom (NASDAQ:ADTM) and Oracle.

At The Glosten Associates in Seattle, Sri led the Ocean Engineering Group to create a suite of cutting-edge software solutions to solve complex marine problems. These included dynamic modelling of mile-long floating bridges, tanker navigation, structural investigations for collisions and fracture, and launching of rockets from floating vessels. Sri was the creator of SHIPMAN, a time-domain simulator for tanker disability and rescue. In the context of the MV EXXON Valdez accident in Alaska, this simulator was created and used to model thousands of tankers in various port environments and eventually became a landmark study that was used by the U.S. Coast Guard to fundamentally change tug escort practices for tankers in U.S. waters.

He has taught courses at Stanford University, U.C. Berkeley and IIT, Madras.

He has a PhD in ocean engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and thesis focused on the theory and computer simulation of nonlinear breaking waves in the ocean. He has a Master's degree (Sloan Fellow) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and B.Tech (Hons) from IIT, Kharagpur.
